The Canadian Association of Malaysia is a non-profit society whose net revenues are donated to registered local charities. Registered charities must have a Register of Societies number and a Charitable Deduction Number from Inland Revenue. If a charity has these numbers, it will then be considered for CAM support. Suggestions are welcome.

PERSATUAN KANAK-KANAK ISTIMEWA AMPANG
Special Children of Ampang is a parent-managed, day facility founded in 1999 which addresses the need for special life skills training and education for 60 individuals with special needs, ranging in age from 4 to 34. Special Children of Ampang aids individuals with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, delayed development and other disabilities. CAM donated 10,000MYR in 2014 that went toward lunches, transportation and special programming, including the purchase of a needed laptop. In 2015, CAM donated 22,000MYR towards the building of a second level with a roof that will include solar panels for improved sustainability.

PUSAT KEBAJIKAN GOOD SHEPHERD
Asrama Desa Pukak (ADP) is a hostel for primary school children located in the village of Pukak in Sabah. This hostel was established in January 2008 and is located about 1 hour 30 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu. It has the capacity to accommodate 30 children. The main objective of this hostel is to enable these children, who come from remote rural villages surrounding Pukak, to attend school on a regular basis so as to raise their academic standards and complete their primary education successfully.
Besides supervision in their schoolwork, the children also learn living skills such as how to wash their own clothes and shoes, how to make their beds and tidy their own living space. CAM donated 20,000MYR in 2014 that went toward staffing the hostel and providing needed food and supplies to run their programme. In 2015, CAM donated 22,000MYR to go towards providing additional support for student tuition, supervision and housing.

INDEPENDENT LIVING AND TRAINING CENTER MALAYSIA
A charity that supports adults who have become disabled due to a spinal injury received funding in 2015 for petrol vouchers to help support transportation of adults to/from the center for training. In 2015, CAM donated 6,000MYR towards the continued support of their transportation needs.

PROTECT AND SAVE THE CHILDREN ASSOCIATION OF SELANGOR AND KUALA LUMPUR
A program specifically designed to address sexual abuse awareness and improve reporting of and therapy for victims of sexual abuse. It
is the only social organization in Malaysia that focuses solely on the prevention, intervention and treatment of Child Sexual Abuse. CAM donated 40,000MYR in 2014 which provided 20 psychosocial counseling and therapy sessions for 20 children.
