The Canadian Association of Malaysia is a non-profit society whose net revenues are donated to registered local charities. Registered charities must have a Register of Societies number and a Charitable Deduction Number from Inland Revenue. If a charity has these numbers, it will then be considered for CAM support. Suggestions are welcome.

PUSAT KEBAJIKAN GOOD SHEPHERD

Asrama Desa Pukak (ADP) is a hostel for primary school children located in the village of Pukak in Sabah. This hostel was established in January 2008 and is located about 1 hour 30 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu. It has the capacity to accommodate 30 children. The main objective of this hostel is to enable these children, who come from remote rural villages surrounding Pukak, to attend school on a regular basis so as to raise their academic standards and complete their primary education successfully.
Besides supervision in their schoolwork, the children also learn living skills such as how to wash their own clothes and shoes, how to make their beds and tidy their own living space. CAM donated 20,000MYR in 2014 that went toward staffing the hostel and providing needed food and supplies to run their programme. In 2015, CAM donated 22,000MYR
