WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO…

O Canada, our home and native land!  O Malaysia, where we live today!

Welcome!  Selamat Datang!  The Canadian Association of Malaysia (C.A.M.) is a small, friendly community whose members have ties to Canada.  Eligibility for membership is determined when any one member of the family group fulfills any one of the following criteria:
(a)  Is a Canadian citizen residing in Malaysia; or,
(b)  Is a non-Canadian employed by a Canadian company operating in Malaysia; or, (c)  Is a non-Canadian acceptable to the Executive Committee under special circumstances.  Our members come from diverse backgrounds and our community has a wealth of experience.  Through our frequent coffee mornings and regular social functions members have the opportunity to make new friends and explore Malaysia while sharing knowledge gained from living abroad. We contribute to our local Malaysian community through various endeavors.  Whether you are investigating a move to Malaysia or if you have already arrived here, we are eager to assist you by providing support and topical information to help you in your transition.
